UK “Standard” delivery is 2.95.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post and in-stock items are usually dispatched within 2 to 3 working days.
This service is available Monday – Friday on all items in stock.
(If your order is urgent, contact the shop on 01825 765555 & we will do our very best to accommodate your needs).
You will be notified via email if there is any reason for delay. All products are carefully packed in accordance with The Post office guidelines. Limelight will have proof of postage from the Post Office before the item is sent.
Hassle Free 7 Day Returns
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you return the product having taken reasonable care of it, complete with packaging and all components within 7 days (14 days outside the UK) of the date on which you received it, we will refund you any money which you have paid us for that product. All you pay for is the return postage of the goods and the cost of shipping the goods to you in the first instance.
You can return the item via the postal service (see below) or in person to Limelight, our shop at 216 High Street, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 1RE.
To enable us to process your returned goods please make sure the items are in the condition you bought it in, ie in a re-sellable condition. This means that it is unused, unworn, tags attached/in original packaging and without any marks (ie de-odorant, food, grease, make-up etc). Please take care to avoid scenting the garment(s) with perfume, and please also ensure all labels are kept.
Please ensure the item is carefully packaged to avoid any damage on the return journey. We advise using an insured, signed for service so you are covered for any damages incurred as Limelightdanceandgym.com is not held responsible for any damages on the return journey to us.
We regret that any special order items (ie. Custom made items such as Character skirts or costumes) and ballet tights (pink, white, black, suntan) are non returnable & non refundable.
For UK based customers, please return your item within 7 working days of receipt. For USA/Worldwide customers, please return your item within 14 days of receipt.
We will refund you any money you have paid for that item, excluding postage and by your original payment method.
Where the returns period has expired, we will be happy to offer an exchange within 28 days up to the value of your purchase. Postage and packing is not charged again on exchange orders for UK customers. Regretfully, we do have to charge customers outside of the UK the postage and packing costs for exchanges.
Regrettably we cannot refund any item until we receive it, or unless you can provide us proof of delivery - ie a signature of one of our staff. We recommend therefore that you take your item to the post office and ask to send the item 'Signed For' or use a courier service. If the item is valuable and for peace of mind, you may want to use an insured postal service. Please allow 2 weeks from sending your returned goods for us to process your refund, exchange or credit note.
If you return an item to us which is faulty, or which you did not order or for any other reason that is our fault, please contact us to inform us and we will arrange a refund or replacement. In the event of you returning goods to us we will also pay you the cost of the return postage. We usually ask that you send items back to us via Royal Mail First Class (Recorded), but occasionally items may have to be picked up by a courier service. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs. Alternatively you can bring the returned item to our High Street shop.

You will be responsible for the item(s) until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery) and suitable insurance cover for the value of the item(s).
Additional Terms - Returns from International Customers
For items being returned internationally (ie. from outside the EU), please ensure the relevant customs paperwork is marked with "Returning for Refund" to avoid any delay or costs in processing your refund.
Unwanted Products - European Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs)
By law, consumers in the European Union have the right to cancel a contract for the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after receipt of the order.
If you wish to cancel your order under the DSRs we ask you to please notify us quoting your name and order number:

...and we will then arrange for you to be refunded accordingly.
Where you are cancelling your order within this cooling-off period we will refund the cost of the item excluding any postage.
Where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase (eg. Express Delivery) UNLESS you are returning the item to us because of an error on our part (or because it is defective) under our Returns Policy above.
NOTE: When exchanging items at the shop, if you need to try an item to fit, we reserve the right to charge a small fitting fee. We believe this fairly reflects our professional service, our stock holding costs and the overheads of running a High Street premises. We hope that you will agree with our position.
